I am assuming that you belong to general category so my answer is according to that.

Though you cleared jee mains and become eligible for giving advanced ,it would be very difficult to get any nits or IIITs at your rank.

Total no of seats  in IITs NITs and IIITs is 50k .

If we exclude IITs from it as it doesn't come under mains but advanced, this figure goes down. So at 96k you will not get anything.

But don't take tension you still have option of other good private engineering colleges that accept jee mains score or you can even apply for some gfti's and sftis till last round to get something.
