hello I have completed my 12th in 2018 & gave two times NEET exam in 2019 & 20 but I couldn't do nice due to lack of study & interest. Now I'm in BSc 2nd year in 2022. But confused if I should seek a chance in NEET ? And what should I do after BSc next yr ? please suggest me.
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
As you have already given NEET twice, you have an upper hand. You already have the experience of sitting in the exam and have an idea of what is the paper like. You are well aware of the syllabus and the pattern of the exam. You are already much ahead of the runners in the race. Now, if you want to prepare for NEET, you have to be confident enough. You have to be strong enough to leave whatever course you are pursuing because NEET demands time, hard work and constant attention. You cannot prepare for it simultaneously while doing some other regular course. However if you are on a break or do not have any other exams approaching and can go a while without studying for the course, you can prepare for NEET. I would suggest you giving 100% focus and attention to NEET once you start preparing as there's no point in preparing for it half-heartedly. You won't be satisfied with yourself in the end and might regret preparing for it.
Now, your second question. What after BSc?
You haven't mentioned what subject did you choose for your Bachelor's so the options which I am mentioning here will be quite limited.
- You can choose to pursue Masters i.e MSc in the same subject if it interests you or you can pursue masters in some other subject too.
- You can also pursue an MBA. It is a brilliant career option.
- You can join the Indian army as commissioned officers after going through their tests.
- You can also prepare for civil services as you are a graduate now.
- You can also try a career in law.
- You can become a scientific assistant.
Hope this helped you
Best wishes for your future:)
Hi Aman,
You should seek a chance in NEET only if you’re interested in it. Otherwise complete your degree and if you want then opt for higher educations. Masters and then phd. You can go for research area or teaching jobs after that.
