Hello, I have completed my diploma in electrical engineering so am I eligible for B tech in marine engineering? If yes then will it be 4 years course or a lateral entry directly to 2nd year in IMU.

hello aspirant,
yes, you can pursue your b.tech degree in marine engineering. the eligibility criteria for btech lateral entry for marine engineering is 3 years diploma course in mechanical/marine/electrical with 55% marks in diploma.
your btech course will be three years as you would join from 2nd year of b.tech.
