Hello aspirant,
Physiotherapy is a very good profession for students who intend to serve the health sector . Physiotherapy has a vast range of career options to choose as people can either work in India or they can go to abroad and they can flourish their career in physiotherapy. The health care needs of a growing and aging population are demanding for the rise in physiotherapists so it's a very good career to choose.
Good luck!
Basically what do physiotherapists do they treat the by physical methods such as exercise etc so you can't expect people to be facing this daily isn't it you get less patients and if you are money oriented I would suggest you to go out of India.
If your not okay studying physiotherapy, there are many other courses which are in high demand now and one of it is Occupational therapy and this course has high demand now and other than that the options are Ophthalmology , BASLP , respiration therapy there are many more these courses don't require neet . Other than this you havr many more options.
hi,
see the colleges of maharastra takes admission in physiotherapy course based on neet score. however in others state colleges admission is based on 12th score or basis on entrance test conducts by the respective college or university. now coming to bachelors in physiotherapy course, its duration of 4 years,. after completing the course you may work in government or private sectors hospitals clinics. however it is necessary to do internship after completing the bachelors to get hands on experience. now there is many other courses available which s closely related with medical field like
bsc in cardiac care technology, anesthesia technology/ dialysis and diagnostics technology/ medical laboratory technology/ nutrition/ audiology/ psychology/ medical imaging technology/ occupational therapy/ radiology etc.
however bachelors in physiology course has decent career prospect, you may work as physiologist or may work as a professor by completing the masters degree. initially salary ranges from 15k-25k.
