Hello I want to do post bsc nursing.Plss tell me the admission criteria and fee structure.

Hello there

You need to fulfill certain eligibility criterias before applying for the post basic bsc nursing course which are:

  • You have to clear your class 12th in science stream.
  • You should have GNM or ANM certificate or any preferred nursing certificate before applying.
  • The candidate should also have registered in any state nursing registration Council.

There are various entrance examinations into which candidates can sit and get the access to do the course of post basic BSc nursing. Some of them are like:

  • AIIMS 2022
  • IGNOU opennet 2022
  • IUET 2022
  • PGIMER Entrance exam

Eligibility criteria of post bsc nursing:

In order to be eligible for B.Sc nursing post basic, you need to pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB). You need to get certificate in GNM and register yourself as RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) from the State Nurses Registration Council.

Moreover, you must submit a proof of training by INC or equivalent in the following domain: Psychiatric Nursing, OT (Operation Theatre) Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing, TB Nursing, Cancer Nursing.

The average course fee is INR 20,000 to INR 1.3 lakhs.

Some of the common entrance exams conducted for the course are JIPMER, AJEE, AUAT, BHU UET etc

After getting the required rank in the exam the candidate need to apply to the college which they get in the counselling through online or offline mode.

To take admission for post bsc nursing, then the candidate must be the citizen of India, he/she must have cleared his/her 12th or 10+2 examination from any board.
