As per your query , I would like to inform you that theiir are many colleges who provide lateral option in btech for direct admission in 2nd year .  But dont expect to have this option in top colleges because generally lateral vacanices arises when some left out of course or seats remains vacant in first year .Some of the universities are below which provide lateral entry options
