Hello i want to know about metallurgical and metallic engineering in nit Warangal
Hello aspirant,
The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (formerly known as Department of Metallurgical Engineering) in NIT Warangal was established in the year 1965 with an intake of 30 students. A post-graduate programme in Industrial Metallurgy was introduced in the year 1983 with an intake of 10 students. The Department is also offering a Ph. D. programme since 1983. Department has also introduced another M. Tech. programme in Materials Technology from the academic year 2011-2012.

Metallurgical and material engineering provides you lot of chances to make a mark as its a research oriented study and you can really shine up if its your area of interest. so coming to NIT warangal , its one of the best institutes that exist , its truly prestigious to study here whatever course you may opt for.
In terms faculty, there are established professors who would guide you if you are truly interested on your subject.Placements are there but not well built as this course id heavily depended on the students skills too.
