Hello i wanted to know does ignou offer masters in counselling psychology?? i planned to do masters in psychology but want to pursue in counselling and then PHD in the same field

Indira Gandhi National Open University do not offer as such course particularly, Masters in counselling psychology. IGNOU do offers counselling masters program, but, the name of the program is M.SC Counselling and Family Therapy which is a two years degree program. The total fee for the course is INR 33,600. For admission into the program, candidates need to have bachelors degree preferably with the subjects of Human Development, Child Development, Family studies or other relevant field. Candidates having bachelors degree along with a PG Diploma in guidance and counselling are equally eligible for the course.
The other relevant course offered by IGNOU in Psychology is MA Psychology which is also of two years and the total course fee is INR 15,600. Candidates who have passed bachelors degree in any stream can get admission into the course.
