Syed, in 2018 under State Quota, 469 marks secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya under General Category. By 2019, the cut offs increased and 575 was the cut off for General Category. These marks secured a seat in Bahraich Medical College under General Category. That was almost an increase in cut offs by 96 marks. This shows that cut offs change every year. Cut offs change ever year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now considering all these factors, 500-550 might get you a seat in Private Medical Colleges in mop up round but this score might be tad less for seat in GMC or either in Round 1 or Round 2. If you want a seat in a GMC, you will have to target atleast 600 as UP has become one of those States with higher cut offs. Yes you may get it as 85% of seats are available in state quota. 500-550 marks are good and admission criteria mainly depends on your NEET score. You may get a good rank in 500-550 marks.
