Hello, I'm a 10th class student. I wanna apply for NTSE exam. They ask me EWS certificate. I come under backward class but the generated EWS certificate showing me as OC category on it's own. What should I do? Doesn't it shows BC category? I'm eligible for

Dear Aspirant,
EWS category is economically weaker section category which is eligible to the candidates whose family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum with some other conditions. EWS category is a sub category of General/Open category. All the candidates under EWS category are General/Open category candidates. So, if it is showing OC , means Open category there is nothing to worry about.
