Hello. I'm giving Gate exam in 2022. I want to opt for two papers. Will my secondary paper marks have any affect on primary paper marks? Or whether their marks are unrelated to each other?

Hi Neha,
The provision of writing a secondary specialization paper has been brought out lately. The secondary paper will be a fixed and will be pre-determined by your primary paper.
Being a GATE-2022 aspirant myself, as far as my knowledge is concerned, the marks or rank of the second paper hasn't got anything to do with the primary paper.
