Hi Candidate,

Talking about the Indian Constitution- It came into functionality on 26 January, 1950 and marked the beginning of the Pillars of the Constitution known as the Legislature and Administration.

Here are some notes and important points about the jurisdiction of India- There are four main types of jurisdiction - (1) exclusive federal jurisdiction; (2) concurrent federal jurisdic- tion; (3) partial federal jurisdiction; and (4) proprietary jurisdiction.

The Supreme Court of India is the Highest Jurisdictory body- which formulates and co-ordinates the workings of National and Inter- State Governments in a few cases.
