Hello! I'm planning to take up Veterinary Science.i'm from karnataka so all that matters is kcet. I would like to know the cutoff of all veterinary colleges in Karnataka.And is NEET necessary to get seat in BVSc&AH??

Every year a minimum score is decided by the controlling bodies of the examThe minimum score is called as Karnataka CET  Cutoff Marks. The candidates who score above this cutoff will be included in the merit list.

General: 50%

General OPH: 45%

Karnataka CET  Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST: 40%

The candidates have to score at least the above specified marks to be included in the merit list.

As per the official notification dated February 22, 2018 released by The Veterinary Council of India, candidates seeking admission in B.V.Sc & AH courses through 15% All India Quota seats will have to compulsorily appear for NEET .

Admissions to these 15% seats in UG course in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry for 2019-20 session at recognized veterinary colleges will be on the basis of NEEt merit list issued by NTA. These 15% seats will be filled through counseling conducted by Veterinary Council of India (VCI). so,the students who want to enroll with the government and private sector Veterinary Colleges to graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course will have to appear in the NEET exam
