Hello, Is mock counselling and other josaa counsellings occur in online or should we need to attend a place
Hi
To participate in the JoSAA 2019 Counselling Process, it is necessary for the candidate to register at the official site. The counselling will be completed once these five steps are done.
1. Registration - Login using your JEE Mains Roll No. and Password. All the information will be retrieved from the JEE Main database.
2. Selecting and Locking of Choices - Few days(last year was 5 days) will be given to fill and lock your choices according to your preference. Even if you don't lock, choices will automaticaaly get locked.
3. Declaration of Seat Allotment and Rank List - Students will be alloted seat but not all, based on merit and the respective rank list will be published.
4. Downloading of Allotment Letter and Seat Acceptance Fee Payment - After you are alloted a seat(can be any round based on your merit), in order to accept the seat, you have to pay the fees and keep a copy of the allotment letter ready for the next step.
5. Reporting at Centres - With a bunch of documents along with your Allotment letter that you would download in the previous step are required to take admission and complete your counselling.
I've given you a brief idea about JoSAA Counselling 2019. So for Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4, the procedure is online. While Step 5 involve physical presence at the reporting centre. I hope you have understood the entire process now.
