hello! I've Qualified in jee mains session 1 2022 and my expected rank on calculating is around 16583. My question is that even if I don't attempt for session 2 will it cause any changes to my expected rank?

Dear Aspirant,

Your rank will be based on your percentile, the percentile that's best of your attempts will be taken and the results will be given. So, as it depends on your percentile there might not be a lot of change in your predicted rank but there is still a possibility of change as there is always a possibility of people getting better percentile in the further attempts. If that happens, then yes, there could be a change but looking at previous year statistics the change should not be more than 1 k give or take.

Hope this helps.
