IIMs are one of the most prestigious institutions of the world, the placements you get are offered by various National and multi national companies and they have various options for you.
some can offer you with work from home option some can demand an in-office work, it totally depends on the job offering authority.
But, as IIM is most prestigious Institute you can always keep your T&C before accepting the letter.
So if you get an International package then you'll get a work from home or in-office work and how the salary varies depends on the authority.
