IIT JAM is an online exam for the admission to various post graduate (PG) science programmes including integrated Ph.D, M.Sc, joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research), Ph.D dual degree and other post bachelor degree programmes offered at IISc Bangalore and other IITs, respectively.
In terms of career opportunities it is not that much effective to get placed from the campus itself unlike B Tech from IIT therefore you have to search for off campus opportunities.
