Hello Ma'am, I want to ask I have done my pgdfm.Now I want to do masters in finance. Thus both courses are different or equivalent?

Yes of course, you can go through MBA in finance and yes it is considered masters in finance.
You will get to know more about the field and basic knowledge which will help you to learn more about finance in managerial skills.
Basically MBA is 2yrs program the 1st year is only focussed on your theoretical and practical implementation in finance whereas 2nd year is depend upon your internship or project.
