Hi, to keep the list from filling with too many IITs, I have included some other colleges as well

1. IIT Bombay- It is a well-known fact that Indian Institute of Technology institutes are among the best Engineering colleges in India, with the best academics, and IIT Bombay is consistently ranked among the top IITs every year. It has various departments and undergraduate programs like Aerospace Engineering, Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Earth Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science. The Tuition fees here, for current academic year are Rs. 2.2 lacs per annum. The total cost of 1-year study at IIT including mess bills is about Rs. 2.5 lacs per annum (excluding hostel and books). Placements wise, the Institute secured 1,172 selections (including Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs) from 265 companies. The average package recorded by the 2019-20 batch has been INR. 20.34 LPA. The highest domestic package has been INR. 62.28 LPA and the highest international offer has been INR. 1.16 CPA by Microsoft.


2. BITS Pilani- Situated in Rajasthan, BITS Pilani is undoubtedly one of the best private Engineering colleges out there. It offers Bachelors’ in Engineering degree in various fields like B.E. (HONS) in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. The fees for the first year this course is 4.23 Lakhs, with an yearly incremental increase. The percentage of students placed in 2019 were 82.08%, and their average package (BE & ME) and their average package was 14.86 lacs per annum.


3. IIT Delhi- Consistently ranked among the best IITs in India, IIT Delhi offers a plethora of undergraduate courses to students, like Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, Production and Industrial Engineering. The first year fees for IIT Delhi is around 2.25 lacs for the BTech program, and around 53,000 for the MTech program. IIT Delhi witnessed the highest number of placements in a decade, with over 1000 offers made, and the median salary for placements being around 15.7 lacs per annum in 2019.


4. NIT Trichy- An institute of National Importance, NIT Trichy is consistently ranked the best among all other National Institutes of Technology. It offers an 8 semester undergraduate BTech degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The fee structure for NIT Trichy is 1.49 Lakhs for the first year, for the BTech degree. In 2019, nearly 96% of undergraduate students got placed, with the average package offered being 6 lacs per annum.


5.IIT Madras- Ranked 1 st in the NRIF rankings, IIT Madras has been one of the best engineering colleges ever since it was founded. It offers a BTech undergraduate degree in various fields like- Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Design, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Ocean Engineering. The fees structure for the college involves a 75,116 payment for the first year for the BTech degree. Being one of the best IITs out there, there were a variety of placement offers made last year. The highest package offered was 1.33 Cr. per annum, in the Computer Science department, whereas the average annual was around INR. 16.1 lacs per annum.
