Hello, my friend have completed his degree with 47% n he is appearing m.com. so can he take admission for MBA on basis of PG degree?

Dear Saurabh, CAT is the entrance examination for admission to Masters Programme and the eligibility criteria is to score 50% in Bachelors if you belong to General Catefory and 45% if you belong to Reserved Categories. And if your friend has not been able to secure the required aggregate in Bachelor's against his Category, then unfortunately he is not eligible for CAT because CAT doesn't consider Master's degree percentages and scores.

Yes, of course! He can. He need to get 50 to 55% in his postgraduations if he is from general category. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Students. MBA has an upper edge over M.Com, reason being you can take corporate as well as academic jobs if you 're an MBA whereas one can only resort to academic jobs after M.Com.
