Rupa, there are a couple of ways to reach out to an Employer requesting for an Employment Opportunity.
- You need to create a CV and upload it on websites like Naukri, monsterindia, Glassdoor, jobindeed, etc.
- You can also check the Careers page of the company that you would like to apply for. For example, for Vedanta it will be https://www.vedantalimited.com/Pages/WhyVedanta.aspx
- Create a profile in Job networking websites like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc. Here again you can do it in 2 ways. First is to reach out to HRs or professionals within Vedanta or any other company that recruits for RR and request for referral. The second is to post that you are looking for opportunities in the field of EE. Professionals usually refer someone that they know. By far, LinkedIn is the most helpful professional networking site.
Few things that you need to remember when trying to reach out to someone for a job are:
- Try to be professional and always have a soft copy of the CV handy.
- Do not fall prey for Fake recruitment sites or posts
- Try for Internship opportunities first so that it boosts your profile.
