But as per wbjee website previous year people got admitted to JU with such rank...Could u pls clarify...My rank .Is 1407 in wbjee 2018 in OBC A Category

Sorry to dishearten you. Not possible . The closing rank even for category is given on the basis of GMR/PMR that is General Merit Rank.So suppose you are a general candidate, to get CSE in Jadavpur University the closing rank was (GMR rank 153) in 2017. But if you are a OBC-NCL category the closing rank required was GMR 784(general merit rank not your obc rank) .
