The notification regarding selection for CLAT counseling is typically not released on the same day as the result announcement. Instead, the results are published first, and the consortium opens the counseling registration process a few days later.

For CLAT 2024, the results are expected on December 11, 2023 . Following this, candidates will receive an invitation for counseling if they meet the required cutoff for the participating NLUs. These invitations are usually sent shortly after the results—either the same day or within a couple of days.

Keep an eye on the official CLAT website and your registered email/phone for updates. Ensure you register for counseling as soon as the portal opens to secure your spot in the seat allocation process.

There is a online counselling process for CLAT you need to Register yourself on the official CLAT website consortiumofnlus.ac.in to participate in the counselling process. the CLAT Counselling Registration 2025 will done from December 9, 2024 to December 20, 2024 (until 10 am).

Once registered, you need to fill in your preferred NLUs based on your desired course and specialization, ranking them in order of preference.

The counselling authority will release multiple merit lists based on your CLAT rank,The Consortium of NLUs will publish the first CLAT 2025 merit list on December 26 where you will be allotted a seat based on your chosen preferences.

If you are satisfied with your allotted seat, you can "freeze" it; if not, you can choose the "float" option to be considered for a better seat in the next round.

If allotted a seat, you need to pay the admission fee and submit the required documents for verification. After submission your admission gets confirmed and you are ready to attend classes.

Each NLU has its own cut-off rank for admission, so choose your preferences wisely based on your CLAT rank.
