Because those who are in result PDF,All of them are not applied to CAP process because Lots of them already get the good colleges & Even Some of them are out side maharastra quota soo they are mostly left..

So the merit will be based on the people who will take part in CAP process and Fill the application form & documents verification..

So that 2400 Rank will change after Merit list.

Ranking will remain same , but chances of getting seat increases if students doesn't appear for documents verification .

If students under 2400 , doesn't attend documents verification or doesn't apply choice entry , your chances of getting seat in a particular college will increase.
