Yes , there are Entrance test for MSC which you need to qualify as admissions are done on the basis of merit. The most popular exams conducted for admission to MD Anaesthesiology course include NEET-PG, AIIMS-PG and JIPMEr-PG. After qualifying only 50% seats are filled with counselling process rest are filled according to the guidelines given by the college.

* Some colleges conduct their own tests - entrance exams to get admission to that particular college. College is independent of any governmental association with it, hence they have the authority over that so, need to qualify as admissions are done on the basis of merit . The exams which are conducted on  MD anesthesia  course include NEET-PG, AIIMS-PG and JIPMEr-PG etc..,

*Apparently , there is a lot of scope for MSc anesthesia    in India. You can opt for either MSc anesthesia or MSc anatomy, for both there is a lot of scope in field of medicine. There are many paramedical colleges which provides MSc in anesthesia   .(or M. Sc anatomy).
