The syllabus vary among universities, but to provide your a general overview BTech CSE spans over eight semesters.
Sem I consists of quantum physics and application, engineering graphics and drawing, computer programming and utilisation, chemistry.
Sem II consists of electricity and magnetism, linear algebra and ordinary differential equations,abstractions and paradigms in programming, biology.
Sem III consists of introduction to electrical and electronic circuits, data analysis and interpretation, discrete structures, data structures and algorithms.
Sem IV consists of computer network, logic for computer science, design and analysis of algorithms, digital logic design.
Sem V consists of computer architecture, database and information systems, operating systems.
Sem VI consists of artificial intelligence, automata theory, numerical analysis, implementation of programming languages.
Sem VII and Sem VIII consists of machine learning,natural language processing, cryptography and network security,digital signal processing,computer-aided geometric design. In addition to this, there are lab courses as well, further doing project works and internships adds a good weightage to one's CV.
