It’s not possible. There is no provision of exchange of seat as per MCI rules or JIPMER or AIIMS. JIPMER conducts its own set of exam and if you qualify, you can get any of the two either Puducherry or Karaikal campus based on the result. You may upgrade your seat from Karaikal to Puducherry on further Counselling.

Other then these 2 colleges no college accepts JIPMER marks as a criteria for selection, hence there is no say for getting a n admission based on its marks.

Dear Saurabj, JIPMER conducts its entrance examination for admission into its 2 branches. They are Pondicherry and Karaikal. If tmyou qualify in JIPMEE, you will be given admission in any onw of these branches. But lets say after counselling if there is a vacancy in any of the branches, you can seek a transfer. Apart from these 2 branches, JIPMER doesnt conduct admissions anywhere else in India
