Hello sir, Can I get more details about eligibility criteria for MBBS admission in Karnataka? I have been studying in Karnataka for 15 years. My mother tongue is not Kannada. Please provide me more details.

For Karnataka MBBS 2020 Eligibility Criteria is given below :

•For Karnataka MBBS admission 2020 only those aspirants are eligible who will able to qualify NEET exam or the minimum percentile.

•Aspirants should have passed their 2nd PUC/ 12th / or its equivalent exam having english as one of the compulsory subject.

•Students should have  scored minimum of 50% of marks in PCB subjects whereas for reserved categories students 40% is required.

•Aspirant  have to fulfil the domicile criteria and all other criteria or the unique clause,some of them are given below:

-The aspirants should have either studied or passed one or more government recognised institution in the state for a minimum period of 7 years .

-Candidate should have  passed their 10th and 12th from the state recognised institution within the state and that either of the parents should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years.

-The mother tongue of candidates  must be Kannada, Tulu or Kodava.

-Candidate have to pass the language test which is conducted by KEA in case they don't know about the above mentioned languages

•The age and academic eligibility are same as  it has been prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
