The use of calculators is prohibited in Gujarat class 11 board, except for certain subjects in the commerce stream where intensive calculations are required. However, in the fields of science and arts, the use of calculators is strictly forbidden. It is important to carefully read the instructions provided on the admit card before bringing it to school.

Hi

No, calculator is not allowed in class 12th board examination of Gujarat state board or CBSE board or any other state board etc. So, I would suggest you to practice calculations so that you don't find it difficult to do the calculations in your board exam, in case if you are using calculator at your home to solve numericals I would suggest you to avoid using it from now only so that you can develop habit of solving them on your own.

Simple calculator is allowed in exam not the scientific one. And also i think it will be no possible to get all answer right by doing calculations on own (not using a calculator). And also there is time limit for exam so its not possible to finish it in time (if not using calculator).
