The course of a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science is generally combined with that of a B.Tech. in Computer Engineering. Today, both of them play an equally important role in the future of upcoming technology. Information Technology is a narrower and more focused field than CS and entails subjects like networking technology for digital devices, financial accounting and management of technological innovation, digital communication, Internet technology and applications, computer simulation modelling, image processing, multimedia systems and project management.

I would advise you to do B.Tech. in IT. It is because in B.Tech. it is important that you choose the right college and there is practically no difference in CSE and IT after 4 years. The companies which come for placements of CSE also recruit IT students, so if you choose the better college you will have more options for companies and more exposure to brilliant people. If the college is good and you are interested in higher studies then also you will have an additional edge as the profs. can help you out by giving recommendations and recommendations from good college profs. is always preferred. Whichever college you choose be it CSE or IT one, in both CSE and IT the one thing that matters at the end is your coding skills
