Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in nit  as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , for  gender female to get computer science engineering   , closing rank  in nit trichy is provided below

OPEN STATE

Category                      closing Rank

General/open     2757 ( crl)

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, to be on the safer side  , target at least around 2500 rank i. e around  99.8 percentile i. e around 250 marks as predictor at

This prediction  is  based of past year data but  cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main  for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Hello,

In 2020 a candidate belonging to general category (female) secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli with rank 2757 in round 6 under Other state quota. Considering the previous year cut off you need to secure rank around 2700. To secure such rank you need to score minimum 99-99.5 percentile or more and the marks required are minimum 210-240 marks or above in JEE Main. These are the estimated score. The rank with the estimated score may vary. The percentile vs marks vs rank trend changes every year.

Cut off changes every year it may increase or decrease depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below
