IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to hold a Bachelor's Degree. Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must have at least 55% aggregate in Bachelor's. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.
JAM 2020 Eligibility Criteria - Things to Remember
The candidates who are Foreign nationals are also eligible to apply for JAM, along with the Indian nationals.
The candidates who wish to apply for different JAM 2020 programmes must make sure that they check the IIT JAM eligibility criteria 2020 before applying for admission. Different courses and programmes will have different JAM eligibility criteria 2020.
If the candidates’ qualifying marks are in the grade/GDPA system, then the percentage of marks will be calculated by the institute itself.
The candidates who will be appearing for JAM 2020 must make sure to have a Bachelor’s degree with themselves.
The candidates who are pursuing qualifying examination must make sure to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination/s to the institute by the last date.
