ABM is offered in only 2 IIMs namely IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Lucknow. With your Academic profile and work experience, you have decent chance to be shortlisted for both IIMs. Now IIM A has the following percentiles as the minimum cut offs for 2019 across all Categories.

Now coming to the 12th, it looks like this for various Streams:

And for professional degrees, the rating scale looks like this:

the weightage is as follows:

12th marks: 10

Graduation marks: 10

Work experience: 0

Diversity factor: Academic disciplines: 20

Academic Factor: Gender: 5

CAT scores are scaled using the formula:

cs=Candidates CAT score/highest CAT socre *X where x=60.

12th marks are calculated using the following scale:

<=80               0

80.01- 82.00       1

82.01- 84.00        2

84.01- 86.00         3

And so on till 98.01-100.00     10

Unfortunately as we cannot replicate the symbols for drawing formula, we cannot post the complete process but we shall help you with the link wherein you can check the admission criteria for IIM Lucknow: http://www.iiml.ac.in/sites/default/files/upload/news/IIML-Admission-Policy-2020-22_CAT2019-310719.pdf

With your academic profile, you do have decent chances in both the IIMs.

Hello Aspirant,

As per your expected percentile in CAT and considering other academic data which you have provided in the question you have chances to get call from some of the IIMs such as :-

  • Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore
  • Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta
  • Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode
  • Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow
  • Indian Institute of Management, Indore

But if you are considering for ABM course than only IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Lucknow provides the course and based on your expected CAT percentile and other academic data you can get call from IIM Lucknow because for IIM Ahmedabad CAT cut-off goes around 98 percentile.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's selection results and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To check the cut-off of all IIMs and other B-schools, kindly check out the link given below :-

You can also use CAT Pathfinder to predict your chances to get call from different IIMs :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
