Hello sir i am OBC and turned 32 years on December 2024. am i eligible to attend the exam coming this year and will i be able to join next year if i selected.? it says 3 years relaxation period for OBC . kindly help me to clarify

Hello John,

It depends on the exam you are referring to. If the upper age limit for the general category is 30 years, then with a 3-year relaxation for OBC, your maximum age limit would be 33 years. Since you turned 32 in December 2024, you are still within the limit and eligible to apply in 2025. If you get selected, you should be able to join next year as long as there are no additional age restrictions at the time of joining. Always check the latest official notification for confirmation.
