Hello Gulshan, don't worry if you have made a mistake in the basic details (matriculation) of the SSC registration. There is a notice regarding the same on the official website for SSC CHSL 2018.
According to the Annexure-1 of the official website of SSC, you can make changes in the basic details, i.e., matriculation examination details only twice after the completion of the registration process.
The Annexure-2 says that when you apply for 'Combined higher secondary level'(CHSL). The information from columns S.no. 1-14 will be filled automatically from the One time registration, but in case you want to make correction in any of this data, click on 'Modify Registration' and then edit your one-time registration.
This can be done only till the time you haven't paid the fees, and finally completed your declaration with 'I agree' and submitted the application.
But once the final application is submitted you cannot make further changes and SSC can also cancel the candidature of any aspirant if the information provided is found to be incorrect.
For further details on rectifying your mistake, refer to the link(go to CHSL, 1st notice) and read Annexure-1 and Annexure-2. https://ssc.nic.in/Portal/Notices
