Yes you can apply in both the colleges are per your rank and category

AU- Andhra University has a great history and situated in a good region Vizag, which is a lot more cooler than tirupati.

SVU- Sri Venjateshwara University is also present in a holy region tirupati, but when compared to AU ,SVU is situated in developing area.

So, to have a good social life, enjoyful one you can choose AU as you have malls and all high standard looks.

But when compared to ranking given by Min home affairs (MHRD), SVU bagged a great place in reasearch and in engineering departments, it also crossed many IIT’s and NIT’s and also it crossed AU too.

In a better way you can choose any of the college basing upon your opinon whether you are interested in ranking or high standard looks.
