NEET is also mandatory to study MBBS/BDS abroad. If you want to study MBBS/BDS abroad then your NEET score 2018 is valid for three years which is until the 2020-2021

As per the new rules announced by MCI, NEET qualifying is a must to study MBBS abroad and to be eligible to sit for the Screening test which is a must to practice medicine in India. But for all the candidates who are willing to practice outside India NEET eligibility is not required.
Some Universities even mandate that you should have qualifying marks in NEET. to get in that university.
Also , yes your 2018 score will make you eligible to study mbbs abroad as its valid for 3 years.
