Hello sir,, I have not secured 60 percent in physics and maths in 12th and my overall percent is also aggregate to 55 percent in 12th ... But now I am pursuing my graduation degree in BCA... But my dream is to join and clear Afcat ...and be in a flying branch So am i eligible for the afcat..
Hello Aspirant,
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for joining Flying branch through AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) because as you have mentioned that you have not even scored 60% in either of the Mathematics and Physics but the eligibility criteria of Flying Branch clearly says that if a candidate wants to join flying branch through AFCAT then he/she should have minimum 60% in both Physics as well as Mathematics in 10+2 along with
**Bachelor’s degree (3 years) in any discipline from a recognized university
OR
**hold B.Tech/ BE degree with minimum 60% from a recognized university
OR
**clearance in section A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India)/ Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% from a recognized university.
So according to the above eligibility criteria everything is fine but the only thing in which you are lacking is you class 12th percentage of Mathematics and Physics, so what I would recommend you is just appear for Mathematics and Physics examination of class 12th from NIOS board and improve your percentage in it.
