Dear Dinesh, OBC-NCL comes under Reserved Category and for Candidates from Reserved Categories should have a degree in B.Pharma, B.E, B.Tech, M.Sc or MBBS with a minimum aggregate of 5%, It is 55% minimum aggregate for General Category. There is a 5% relaxation for Reserved Categories and so with 54.10%, as you belong to OBC-NCL, you can avail the relaxation and therefore qualify for appearing for CSIR-NET.

As pee the eligibility criteria stated by NTA for CSIR NET Exam-

  • Candidates must have a degree in B.Pharma or BE or B. Tech or MSc or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree with at least 55% marks.

  • 5% marks relaxation (that means 50% in qualifying exam) is given to candidates who belong to reserved category like OBC belonging to non-creamy layer, Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disability.

So you are eligible for CSIR NET exam.
