Hi,
Out of the 2 exams, CAT is a bit tough considering it is for admission into IIMs and each year the paper is set by one of the IIMs and what makes it difficult is the level of questions which gets tougher year by year considering the increasing number of applicants.

SSC has more competition than CAT.
Every year SSC aspirants are around 15lakhs or CAT aspirants are around 2.50 lakh and jobs available for SSC is only 9000 or 10000.
