Dear Abhishek, you havent mentioned whether when you studied it was an Institute but later became a University or it was an University from the beginning and you entered it wrong. Neverthless, if it was an Institute when you studied and later became a University, it's not your fault and doesn't need correction because all your documents will have the letter head as Institution and not as a University and you are good. But if it was a mistake from your side, this field cannot be corrected. According to the official brochure, Name, Date of Birth, Details of parents/guardian, corresponding address, Qualifying degree, Exam city, Gender, PWD and Category details only can be corrected. But thus shall not pose any problem for you.
Hello Abhishek Saxena
If all of your documents will have 'Institute' in the name instead of 'University', provided it was Institute when you have joined the college, then it is correct. It doesn't matter if it has become an University after your joining. So it won't cause a problem or get amended.
Hope it helps you.
