Do not worry you can do very well if you prepare nice. Remember , there is no difference between you and the people cracking the exam every year except for the hard work. If you work hard, you can too. Here are some tricks that you can practice-
1. Learn standard formulas, values and tricks to save time in the exam.
2. Practice approaching the questions in a smart way and practice a lot to develop short ways of solving them.
3. Study the subjects thoroughly and solve the previous year papers.
4. Do some research and choose the correct study materials .

If you want to become IES officer then you must have a btech degree in Mech, Civil, ECE or EEE because for these branches only you can write Engineering Services exam. So, start preparing for your 12th as your present educational shows that you are in 10th.
