Hi
Yes, you are eligible for Neet examination even if you are in second year of your BHMS and yes if you manage to qualify Neet examination and get a seat in MBBS then you can leave your BHMS seat and can get admission in MBBS
This is because, There is no rule which says that if you are doing bhms or any graduation or leave it in between you become ineligible for Neet examination, as to be eligible for neet what all one needs is :
* to must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-
-) at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-) at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
-)at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of general/ews pwd candidates to be eligible.
So , you are definitely eligible for Neet 2021 examination ,even if you leave bhms in between and after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission in medical colleges for MBBS etc on the basis of rank or marks obtained by you in NEET
But yes,you need to check your college bond which you would have signed while taking admission. You will have to pay penalty amount. As per the page number 40 of official Maharashtra Neet information brochure, if you leave your BHMS seat without completing it then you will have to pay the penalty of 3 lakh rupees.
You can check the same on your own you can download the information brochure of Maharashtra for Neet at

You can appear for NEET 2021 and can cancel your admission but before going for the same you should check the bond with college which was declared by you at the time of admission because you have to pay some penalty amount if you leave your BAMS course midway according to that bond.
