Hello Yadagiri mamatha ,You don't need to be a CA to become an income tax officer . to be become an Income tax officer , you need to clear civil services exams and choose Indian revenue services as your preferred line.
The candidate who wishes to become an Income Tax Officer has to appear for the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam .

Yes, after completion of Bechelor degree in any stream and if you have also completed your CA course then the CA course will be help full to become an Income tax officer. But you have to also attempt the UPSC and Civil service exams in order to get this job. You have to score a good rank and also attempt the written tests as well as the personal interview and have to perform well .
