Admission in the signal processing course is done through the gate exam as it is the MTech course offered by iit Kanpur.

yes once you are shortlisted, you will be called for the interview

some questions that were asked in the interview were

• Draw the derivative and integral of a function by simply observing it. No computation.

• What Eigen function or Eigen vector conceptually? What does eigen value siginify?

• Relation between exponential and Poisson distribution?

• Event happening with poisson stats. How you will derive stats for time gap between alternate events.
• write drichlets condition and explain wid example
• causal system
• time invarient system
• suppose there is a real time invarient signal , then what kind of symmetry , the frequency domain have and prove it ?
