Hey!

You can take admission in M.Com. in University of Delhi after completion of your B.Com. There are two modes of intake: merit-based and entrance-based.

To secure admission on the basis of merit, you need to keep a consistently good score in your graduation (Preferably above 8.0 GPA). The applications are open in June every year and there is a choice in application form to select the mode of intake. As you are a student of DU, you can be considered for merit-based intake.

The available number of seats under merit-based intake are:

  • General: 89
  • ST: 26
  • SC: 12
  • OBC: 47
  • Total:174

On the other hand, many foreign universities provide admission on the basis of the following:

  • Your CV
  • Your Internships and work experience
  • Your marks scored in your graduation
  • Interview with the admission committee(in many cases)

Scholarships are provided to excellent students wherever applicable.

Other than all this, most of the institutes and government jobs select applicants on the basis of several entrance exams.

Best wishes!
