You have not mentioned the Category you belongs to so I'm considering it as General Category and giving information based on it. Cut-offs depends on College to College, for Top Colleges you need to get good rank.

For good Colleges you need to get a rank below 3000 and based on previous year's analysis it is said. The cut-off varies from branch to branch as well.

Cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like number of students appeared in the exam, number of seats available, category, difficulty level of the exam, etc.
