Eligibility criteria for applying for a drug inspector post is that a candidate must have completed his graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmacology or microbiology or medicine or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. You will have to keep checking UPSC website as they give the notification anytime and till then you should keep preparing. I am providing you the syllabus of the Drug Inspector exam below :

There will be two papers in the exam.
Paper 1 is of Pharmacy with 100 questions of 200 marks and 2 hours will be provided.
Paper 2 is of General knowledge where 50 questions of 50 marks will be there and 1 hour is the time limit.
