You will need to balance your college curriculum along with jee mains and jee Advanced preparation. You will have to clear jee mains again in the year 2022 to be eligible for jee Advanced. Getting into NIT is a very good thing and I will suggest you to pursue your degree rather than a partial drop.
But if you are not satisfied at all with the branch or college you have entered this year you can attempt jee again next year.
Hope this helps !
Hello Aspirant,
Yes definitely you can appear for JEE-Advance 2022 even if you take admission in any of the NITs this year on the basis of JEE-Main 2021 score, provided that you qualify JEE-Main 2022 as well then only you can sit for JEE-Advance 2022.
For JEE-Advance maximum limits are 2, so you can appear for it only for two consecutive years after passing class 12th, in which 1st year is the passing year of class 12th itself. For JEE-Main the maximum allowed attempts are 3, means you can appear for it only for three consecutive years after passing class 12th, in which 1st year is the passing year of class 12th itself
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
