hello sir /mam I would like to study ma french from JNU... so can u please tell the syllabus i need to go through for the jnu enterence exam or if u can suggest any book....

Syllabus for MA French in JNU is as follows:
The entrance test will be conducted in French. The syllabus comprises of questions related to French & Francophone literature, history, civilization and culture of France and Francophone countries, linguistics and language, translation and didactics of teaching a foreign language . Further there will be evaluation based on translation skills both in English and French through translation of passages to and from both these languages.For those who qualify written test, they'll have a viva voce examination. The written test has 80% and the oral 20% weightage.
